Ben is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Design and Technology, awarded in 2007. Over the course of his career, he has built extensive experience across all sectors of the construction industry and worked on projects of varying scales, from small residential developments to large-scale commercial buildings.

He has been a valued member of three of Cardiff’s largest architectural practices and was honored with the role of Associate at his most recent firm, where he collaborated closely with Dean on a wide range of complex projects. This experience has provided Ben with an in-depth understanding of the construction process, including design coordination, regulatory compliance, and practical site considerations.

A fully Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), Ben takes great pride in maintaining the high professional standards this designation represents. He is known for his positive and approachable demeanor, pragmatic problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Ben excels in creating design solutions that are both innovative and practical, guiding projects from initial concept through planning, technical design, and ultimately to completion. Dean graduated in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology and an HND in Building Surveying, launching his career on a diverse range of Ministry of Defence (MOD) projects across the East of England. These early experiences allowed him to develop a strong foundation in technical design, project management, and the delivery of projects to exacting standards, preparing him for a wide variety of challenges in the construction and architectural sectors.

After several years, Dean returned to Wales and joined a well-established architectural practice in Cardiff. Over the following years, he built extensive experience across multiple sectors, including Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Education, and Retail. This breadth of work has equipped him with a versatile skill set, enabling him to adapt seamlessly to projects of varying scale, complexity, and type, while maintaining a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

A fully Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), Dean has consistently demonstrated leadership and professional excellence. During his tenure at one of the UK’s leading AJ100 architectural firms, he progressed through the ranks to become Director, overseeing major projects and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and practical design solutions.

Drawing on nearly two decades of industry experience, Dean partnered with Ben to establish their own practice, bringing together their combined expertise and vision. Known for his pragmatic approach, meticulous attention to detail, and collaborative working style, Dean continues to guide projects from initial concept through planning, technical design, and construction, ensuring every development is delivered efficiently, effectively, and to the highest standard.
